ProtectStar Foundation’s management has announced today that the foundation will be beginning support this year for the Media and Event Academy (EurAka) – also an NPO - in extending its in-house IT infrastructure.
The first project will consist of equipping the existing servers, computers and notebooks with anti-virus scanners and firewalls. This will include installing additional hardware-based virus protection and firewalls at critical points in the network to ensure secure operation in the entire network.
The second project planned in the New Year will involve the complete replacement and extension of the Academy’s existing WLAN network in the campus. Specialized indoor and outdoor solutions will optimize WLAN network coverage between the campus, halls of residence and training centers at EurAka.
The ProtectStar Foundation will ensure that EurAka is able to continue its success in development, coordination, support and realization of training programs aimed at the media and events sector.
Further information will soon be available on the ProtectStar Foundation’s website at www.protectstar-foundation.org.
