Navigation types:
According to the application, PROXAUT's AGV vehicles use all the different guiding technologies without distinction. The opportunity to offer its customers combined driving, which uses several systems simultaneously, gives the possibility to supply special solutions in challenging conditions.
• Laser: A system based on the use of a laser scanner that provides the onboard computer with the X, Y and α enabling the localization.
• Inertial: An odometric system with trajectory correction that uses passive markers or magnets in the floor to validate the vehicle's position.
• Wire: A guidance system that involves placing conductive wires with low-frequency signals in the flooring.
• Slam Lidar: A system that uses laser sensors (light detection and ranging) to enable navigation along predefined paths through continuous mapping of the surrounding environment
