In Rescue: Heroes in Action, courageous firefighting heroes have already taken the chance to prove their skills in fighting hazardous blazes. Due to an unexpected natural disaster the fire-fighting and rescue squads will now face new hazards and challenges in RESCUE: Heroes in Action: Rising Storm, the first official add-on to the game which will be available in the iTunes® app store and the Google Play™ store on 23rd September, 2015.

Ravaged by the fierce coast storm Nina the city and its inhabitants are desperately looking for help from their rescue and firefighting heroes: with the impeding floods threatening dwellings and distressed citizens the rescue specialists will need all their courage and skills to prevent an even greater disaster right the eye of the storm!

RESCUE: Heroes in Action: Rising Storm is the first expansion of the popular mobile game RESCUE: Heroes in Action. It adds a completely new scenario to the main game, including 10 missions, 4 new emergency vehicles, 4 new unique characters and much more.

Players will dive into realistic, suspense-packed missions with their firefighting unit, where every decision can mean the difference between life and death. Find out what it takes to be a true "Hero in Action”!

The Rising Storm add-on will be released on 23rd September 2015 and will be available via the iTunes® app store and the Google Play™ store.

The foundation for today's astragon group was laid in 1998 by André Franzmann with the establishment of rondomedia Marketing & Vertriebs GmbH. The subsidiary astragon Software GmbH was then founded in 2000 by CEO and co-partner Dirk Walner, and the two companies initially operated largely independently. In the following years, both companies established themselves as successful game publishers, rondomedia focusing on casual games and secondary releases, and astragon focusing on simulation games. For both publishers, the thematic focus has moved in the same direction in recent years – the development and publishing of simulation games and the distribution of casual games and individual products from other genres.

In addition to the distribution of licensed titles, the focus is now also on developing their own titles. In recent years, both companies have also successfully exploited the mobile sector, i.e. games for smartphones and tablets.

So it made sense to increase cooperation, to pool resources and to pursue a unified market presence. The result is the astragon group, which has operated jointly since August 2015 with a new unified logo.
The decision to continue under the subsidiary's name astragon is down to the emphasis on simulations. astragon stands for simulations like hardly any other brand – a topic to which the new astragon group will devote itself to an even greater extent than before. The former rondomedia now operates under the name astragon Sales & Services GmbH, dedicating itself to retail marketing. The former astragon now operates under the name astragon Entertainment GmbH, and will focus primarily on publishing and international marketing.
