In 2011, the truck-mounted aerial platform specialist will be presenting its top new model in Germany’s all-important 7.49 ton vehicle category. Under the project title “STEIGER ® T 3++” RUTHMANN will give customers and interested parties a hint of the innovation which lies ahead. RUTHMANN will unveil a truck-mounted aerial platform with a working height exceeding the current 30-metre limit. Further details are still being kept a secret but RUTHMANN promises to reveal more information in the weeks and months ahead.
With this announcement RUTHMANN illustrates how valuable innovation and customers are in the” bread and butter” category. This truck-mounted aerial platform category (vehicles up to 7.49 tons) is so important in Germany because there are millions of drivers with regular C1 (formerly class 3) licences which are able to drive this type of machinery using only their car driver’s licences. Machinery in this category is rented to the public without an accompanying driver.
For the past three decades, RUTHMANN has constantly been presenting innovative milestones in this category (as seen in the adjacent picture). It all began in the early 80’s with the introduction of electronic control technology and fabrication using high-alloyed fine grain steel.
Today these factors are still the driving force behind the development of all new RUTHMANN products. Customers can rely on high-performance machinery with state-of-the- art technology providing maximum performance data.
