“¡Hola México!” was the motto a few weeks ago on May 1 when Scheugenpflug, the specialist for metering and dispensing technology, opened a branch office in Mexico’s Guadalajara. With the addition of Scheugenpflug México, S. de R.L. de C.V. the company extends its reach in the Americas and strengthens its ability to support for new and existing customers. “As the fifth largest production location for the automotive industry, Mexico is an enormously important market for us. We can see huge potential for our technology” said Christian Ostermeier, Head of Sales and Marketing at Scheugenpflug. “We established a presence in the United States several years ago to serve our U.S., Mexican and Canadian customers. The sizable demand convinced us to build a separate country base for the Mexican market. That way, we can also cover the specific regional requirements.”
The new office in Mexico allows Scheugenpflug to serve their customers quickly and directly with the complete service and product portfolio. Competent local technical service in Spanish is ensured as well.
Product and Service offering is available globally
Mr. Marcelo Ortiz Navarro will be responsible for leading sales and service at Scheugenpflug México, S. de R.L. de C.V. The engineer is a 20-year veteran of the metering and dispensing equipment industry and formerly worked in sales of a large Tier 1 automotive supplier. “We are very glad that we were able to ally ourselves with such a capable expert, such as Mr. Marcelo Ortiz Navarro. He not only has a deep knowledge of the industry but also of the Mexican market”, added Christian Ostermeier.
The location Guadalajara adds significantly to the on-going globalization of Scheugenpflug. The new Mexican subsidiary is the third autonomous branch of the metering and dispensing equipment manufacturer in Neustadt/Donau, Germany. They have operations in China and in the U.S. in addition to an extensive network of international service and sales partners, which are all working to the same standard of excellence in quality and service in 22 countries world-wide.
