“Solar Package 1 makes the installation, expansion and modernization of solar and battery systems much more attractive, especially for companies and tradespeople,” said Marko Werner, Regional Manager for EMEAS at SMA. “Our solutions comprising hardware, software and services not only ensure maximum yields but also support installers at all stages of a project and make it easier for companies to budget for their costs. And SMA is also ideally positioned in all other application areas to continue promoting the use of climate-friendly energy together with customers and partners.”
SMA sets new standards for energy management
At the SMA trade fair booth, solar power professionals can find innovative complete solutions comprising high-quality equipment and services for solar energy generation in private homes. These include the SMA eCharger wallbox for PV-optimized charging, which can now be ordered, as well as the now available Sunny Boy Smart Energy single-phase SMA hybrid inverter and the SMA Home Storage modular battery. Together with strong partners, SMA is planning its own dynamic electricity tariff in Germany. Customers will then be able to purchase 100% green electricity from the grid cost-effectively and sell self-generated solar power at a profit. This is possible thanks to smart energy management with the Sunny Home Manager 2.0, which manages and optimizes all energy flows. In this way, SMA is setting new standards for the energy management of the future.
SMA Certification Service for faster grid connection
Solar Package 1 opens up fresh opportunities for the use of solar energy in the commercial sector. The new SMA Commercial Solar Solution consisting of the new Sunny Tripower 125 and the new SMA Data Manager M provides more power for higher energy yields. In addition, its integration into new and existing energy systems has been improved considerably, partly thanks to SMA Speedwire. The new SMA services provide professional support at all stages of a project, from planning to safe commissioning to repowering. The new SMA Certification Service gets PV systems onto the utility grid faster, makes things easier for planners and installers and thus frees up capacity for other projects.
European premiere and finalist for The smarter E Award: SMA Sunny Central FLEX
In the power plant solutions sector, there will be a particular focus on Sunny Central FLEX this year. The modular platform solution is celebrating its European premiere and is hotly tipped for The smarter E Award in the Photovoltaics category. This versatile container solution was developed for use in all power plant applications – from solar energy generation to battery-assisted grid stabilization to hydrogen production. Also for large PV power plants, SMA will present the Sunny Highpower PEAK3 with new functions for more different applications: Sunny Highpower Storage for storage system projects and Sunny Scalable Power for power-to-gas applications.
