- Software AG to certify its software to run on HP cCell Services, a new cloud offering HP brings to the German market
- HP customers running Software AG products on-premise can now easily adopt HP's cloud platform
- Software AG customers benefit from even more deployment options for their leading BPE software
At CeBIT 2012, Software AG today announced plans to certify its Software AG Cloud Ready portfolio to run on another leading platform, HP's new cloud offering cCell Services. Software AG Cloud Ready delivers a solution designed to provide modeling, process management, Service-Oriented Architecture and cloud integration offerings, improving processes faster and at a lower cost. With this offering being now available on HP cCell Services, Software AG customers currently running on HP can migrate smoothly to HP's new cloud platform, and HP customers currrently running Software AG products on-premise can more easily adopt HP's cloud platform without affecting their software support status. This new deployment option will be available in mid-2012.
HP's new cloud offering allows customers to choose where they access cloud services from: their own data center, a regional IT partner or HP. With HP cCell Services, users can choose the location and mode of cloud operations to suit their technical, business and regulatory requirements. Software AG, partnering with HP, can now quickly build up its own cloud offering on the new cloud platform. Customers can bring new environments online much more quickly on an on-demand basis, using existing Software AG licenses, thus reducing long-term cost and commitment for hardware and hosting.
"Software AG's planned certification of its software to run on HP cCell confirms that we are launching HP cCell at the right time," says Michael Eberhardt, General Manager and Managing Director of HP Germany's service division. "Software AG is a global leader of IT solutions for business process management and we are looking forward to working together in order to offer these solutions in the cloud. This will give our customers and partners unprecedented flexibility and new forms of collaborative added value."
HP will introduce its new cloud offering at CeBIT 2012 as part of BITKOM's Cloud Computing World (Hall 4, Booth A58). Software AG presents its Cloud Ready portfolio at its own booth at CeBIT, Hall 4, D11, and also at BITKOM's Cloud Computing World.
"HP is a leading provider of infrastructure and data center services and one of the first companies offering a full-blown cloud platform," says Dr. Wolfram Jost, CTO, Software AG "and this is very much in line with developments that we see in the market. Together with HP, we provide our customers with the logical next step towards a fully, cloud-enabled business infrastructure."
