Betreiben wird die PV-Anlage die Pegasus Vertriebs GmbH. Das Unternehmen aus Mainaschaff im Landkreis Aschaffenburg ist auf den Bau von Freiflächenanlagen ab etwa fünf Megawatt Leistung spezialisiert. Die Anlage in Gerwisch hat Pegasus in nur 16 Wochen realisiert. Die offizielle Einweihung der PV-Anlage ist für Februar 2010 geplant.
Bei den Anlagenkomponenten hat Pegasus sich für 120.000 Cadmium-Tellurid-Module von First Solar und 25 Zentralwechselrichter vom Typ SolarMax 300 C entschieden, die in Betonstationen untergebracht sind. Für den einwandfreien Betrieb sorgt Sputniks Rundum- Sorglos-Paket MaxControl mit integrierter Überwachungseinheit und einer garantierten Verfügbarkeit von 97 Prozent pro Jahr - 20 Jahre lang. "Ich bin sehr stolz darauf, dass wir zusammen mit Pegasus Sputniks größte Freiflächenanlage in Deutschland realisieren konnten", sagt Sputnik-Deutschland-Chef Hans-Thomas Fritzsche.
"Die Zusammenarbeit mit Sputnik Engineering war sehr angenehm und vertrauensvoll", ergänzt Pegasus-Mitarbeiter Hans-Peter Knecht. Der Kontakt zu Sputnik sei über Empfehlungen zustande gekommen, die PV-Anlage in Gerwisch ist Pegasus' erstes Projekt mit SolarMax-Wechselrichtern. Es wird nicht das einzige bleiben: Für 2010 hat Pegasus bereits mehrere Projekte mit SolarMax-Wechselrichtern in der Pipeline.
