Speed4Trade GmbH publishes the new issue of the annual online car parts study "AA-STARS". In the sixth issue, market data was collected for a total of 22 European countries. For the first time, the software provider gives an insight into the B2C online shops with the highest demand in the European automotive aftersales market, focussing on the car parts segment (hereinafter referred to as "parts").
AA-STARS 6 gives important insights into the performance of the market and competition within Europe. In the study paper, Speed4Trade highlights the top 10 B2C parts shops and top 10 company groups across all 22 countries analysed. Readers also receive information on the market maturity for B2C online shopping in the individual countries as well as the online shop market development in Germany with a year-over-year comparison.
Top 10 parts shop elite with almost 40% turnover of all 220 top shops in Europe alone
Just over 2,300 shops can be identified in the parts segment in the 22 countries analysed. The top 10 parts shops are identified for each country as part of a country dossier. The top 10 shops in Europe, which alone account for almost 40% of the online sales of all 220 top shops in the countries analysed, are presented above. In addition, the study paper provides an insight into further ranks after the European top 10, which also include well-known shop brands such as Mister-auto.com (Stellantis) or Kfzteile24.de.
Autodoc SE leads corporate group ranking by turnover in Europe
AA-STARS 6 once again focuses on the market significance of Autodoc SE and confirms its clear market leadership in Europe. With 48 parts shops in the European top 100, Autodoc SE is at the top of the corporate group ranking in terms of turnover. Autodoc SE is represented in the European top 10 shops with five shops and is characterised by a market share of 35.5%.
Wolfgang Vogl, Director Business Development at Speed4Trade, on the sixth issue of the study: "The sixth issue of our popular AA-STARS study is the only one of its kind to cover the entire European online B2C automotive aftermarket. Our Data Management & Analytics team analysed more than 20,000 URLs and 9,000 B2C online shops and then classified them. This gives automotive aftermarket providers an overview of the competition across Europe, enabling them to weigh up the market potential as part of their own online strategy."
Many other studies analyse and view the market from a company perspective. With AA-STARS, Speed4Trade focuses on the perspective of online shoppers. The results come from the objective algorithm developed in-house.
