One of the new great features is the embedded One View watchlist within EnterpriseOne pages, moving in the direction of Management by Exception. Within One View the user can now use a graphical view to explore the different tasks they have to work on. The priority of these tasks can by selected by thresholds and then displayed in different colours in order to highlight the priority and urgency of each of the given tasks.
In addition to watchlists the Oracle Composite Application Framework (Café One) has been further enhanced by EnterpriseOne Forms. With just a few clicks users can add different views to their screens to display selected relevant information. But it is not just a case of displaying them; the user now also has the capability to change the data and save it. This open the possibility of creating different layouts.
Additionally the iPad solution has been further enhanced by the introduction of a more iPad native behaviour for row and form exits. Additionally a scratchpad has been introduced for the iPad. This means that if a user opens a PDF they can sign it directly using the iPad. This is a very useful feature for many areas including delivery or service management. Pictures and video can also be taken and saved as media objects. Last, but by no means least, is the introduction of the availability of One View Reporting on the iPad. For companies using Android tablets Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne can be used via Google Chrome.
