For the first time, the SPS trade show will feature the new addition “Smart Production Solutions”. The trade show will take place from November 26 to 28, 2019 in Nuremberg, Germany, and cover the entire spectrum of smart and digital automation. Syslogic will be aligning the key aspects of its presentation with the trade show concept. The embedded specialist will present an entire product range of AI-capable embedded systems. Moreover, the company will present its rugged and vehicle computers as well as a selection of human machine interface (HMI) systems.
AI Rugged Computer: Nvidia Jetson meets IP67
The AI Rugged Computer provides the ideal hardware base for local AI applications under extreme conditions. It complies with protection class IP67 and features an Nvidia Jetson TX2i SoM (System on Module), which forms the core of the AI Rugged Computer and is perfectly suited for AI inference applications in real time. Specific examples include object or person recognition, autonomous driving, predictive maintenance, optical authentication, and condition monitoring of machines or vehicles.
AI Embedded System: For OEM Applications
Syslogic offers a complete range of products for local GPU-accelerated AI applications. In addition to the AI Rugged Computer, Syslogic will demonstrate other embedded systems based on Nvidia processor technology in Nuremberg. Among other things, these systems are suitable for OEMs in automation or for “Smart City” applications. The SPS trade show also marks the first time that Syslogic will present equipment based on the new Jetson-Xavier platform.
Vehicle Computer: For Mobile Applications
Another highlight at SPS 2019 will be industrial computers for mobile use. Syslogic delivers worldwide to manufacturers of railway vehicles, construction machinery, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and agricultural vehicles. The vehicle computers all feature an impressive ultra-rugged electronic design, M12 connectors, and clever housings. Depending on the application area, various processor platforms are available, including the Bay Trail and Apollo Lake platforms by Intel Atom or Jetson-TX2 and Jetson-Xavier by Nvidia. Regardless of which platform is used, all vehicle computers are passively cooled.
Scalable HMI Systems: Seamless connectivity meets a robust industrial design
The HMI systems by Syslogic combine robustness and durability with scalability and ease of use. The 10.1-inch units come with a 16:10 widescreen touch display and are available as a surface/panel mount unit with Vesa mount bracket or as a recessed/flush-mount model. The processors can be adapted to the respective application. Furthermore, an in-vehicle version with screw-on connectors is available. Data transmission to systems and machines happens in real time via Industrial Ethernet. The HMI systems can be integrated into the network wirelessly via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or LTE.
