Telenor Connexion customer LOSTnFOUND has been recognized in the Annual Awards Program for guard2me©, a digital aid for sufferers of dementia.
Millions of people around the world every year are diagnosed with Alzheimer's, which is characterized by dementia. Getting lost is a common problem for people with the disease because their memory is impaired and they easily get confused and wander off.
The guard2me© tracking device from LOSTnFOUND has been developed to improve the lives and conditions for sufferers of Alzheimer's and dementia. The device, a watch worn around the patient's wrist, tracks the location of the patient at all times, allowing care providers and family members to locate a patient who is lost or in an emergency situation.
The connected solution is composed of three main components; a guard2me©-watch, an embedded SIM-card and service, and the guard2me© web portal and app for smartphones.
