- Ilse Henne, member of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp AG and CEO of thyssenkrupp Materials Services, is new Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG.
- Knut Giesler, District Manager of IG Metall North Rhine-Westphalia, is new Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board for the employee side.
- The Supervisory Board confirms Dennis Grimm as Spokesman of the Executive Board, as well as Philipp Conze in his function as Chief Financial Officer.
- Dr.-Ing. Marie Jaroni is appointed to the Executive Board as Chief Transformation Officer.
New appointments to the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG
In addition, the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG today confirmed Dennis Grimm as Spokesman of the Executive Board, who has already held the position as interim Spokesman of the Executive Board since end of August. Grimm will assume overall operational responsibility as well as the technological management and development of the company. He is also in charge of the technological implementation of the green transformation. In addition, Grimm is also acting responsible for the newly tailored sales and innovation department.
Dr.-Ing. Marie Jaroni, previously Executive Vice President Steel at thyssenkrupp AG, will be appointed to the Executive Board as of October 1, 2024. In a newly created department, she will be responsible for the strategic development as well as for the performance-oriented management of the company towards enhanced competitiveness.
Philipp Conze was confirmed as Chief Financial Officer. He will also continue to head the HR division until a successor is appointed.
