Spontaneous shipment needs: trans-o-flex picks up parcels and pallets on the same day

Until now, trans-o-flex worked exclusively for customers sending parcels or pallets on a regular basis. On 1st October, the provider of express delivery services, with its headquarters in Weinheim, opened its system for companies that want to send a shipment spontaneously. Depending on a dispatcher’s postcode area, shipments can be registered in the afternoon in order to be picked up on the same day and delivered to recipients all over Germany. “Our market research has shown that the need for spontaneous shipments has increased, especially among small and medium-sized companies,” says Wolfgang P. Albeck, CEO of trans-o-flex. "These companies want a service that is easy and quick to book, that is uncomplicated and reliable and that has a fair price. This is why we developed trans-o-flex now.”

The trans-o-flex now service can be booked online at mytof.de any time after registration. Alternatively, bookings can also be made by phone. The service has been designed for shipments between companies. Therefore, picking up the shipment is always included in the price. "We start with pallets as well as with standard and express parcels up to 32 kilos," says Albeck. "Right from the beginning, it is therefore also possible to book guaranteed delivery on the next working day as well as time-specific deliveries by 8, 9, 10 and 12 a.m.". Gradually, trans-o-flex also wants to offer spontaneous customers additional services from its portfolio, e.g. actively temperature-controlled shipments or shipments consisting of several packages or pallets.
