Established trade fair for 10 years
"it-sa is the largest cybersecurity trade fair in Europe. The big players in the industry are represented here," says Björn Haan, Managing Director of the Cybersecurity business field. "I am delighted that we are able to present our customers, partners and the community with exactly the groundbreaking solutions and technologies that our customers expect from us, both on our exhibition floor and in the context of our presentations.”
Extensive lecture program
Wolfgang Kiener, Business Development Manager at TÜV Rheinland, will present “Reduce Time to Detect & Contain Cyber incidents" on October 9th at 10:45 a.m. in the Technology Forum in Hall 10.0. Recent attacks on well-known companies show that preventive controls alone are not enough to combat the increasingly sophisticated threats to cybersecurity. The time it takes to identify and respond to threats can have a significant impact on the level of damage in a security incident.
Jörg Zimmermann, Principal in the Cybersecurity field at TÜV Rheinland, will present “Measures for Mastering the Complexity of Cybersecurity in the Context of Digital Transformation” on October 10th at 4:30 p.m. in the Management Forum in Hall 10.1.
In a live hacking lecture, TÜV Rheinland experts Wolfgang Kiener and Benedikt Westermann will demonstrate how a potential attacker can penetrate into a production environment via various weak points in the corporate network and point out consequences this may have on October 11th at the Technik Forum, Hall 10.0
Dinner event on the first evening of the trade fair
In addition to the presentations, TÜV Rheinland along with partner RSA will host a networking dinner on October 9th at 6 p.m. at the it-sa exhibition grounds in the Lisbon - NCC Mitte area. During the dinner, there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas with industry experts in addition to a specialist lecture. The event is free of charge upon registration.
