New additions to TÜV Rheinland´s portfolio include services for determining among others wind potential and energy yields, for determining turbulence intensity characteristics and for calculating shadow flicker emissions and noise emission prognoses. In this regard, the company has recently received accreditation for testing in accordance with international standard EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. With its range, the testing service provider has established itself as a reliable partner in the wind energy market for operators, owners, investors, project developers and manufacturers of wind energy plants and wind farms. “We offer our customers swift and flexible solutions”, says Frank Witte, Global Business Development Manager at TÜV Rheinland. “With our global network of experts, we are able to contribute towards the success of our customers, particularly in Japan, Korea, India and China”, says the expert.
The focus of the trade fair will be on presenting the portfolio of wind energy services. These include project certification, type and component certification as well as manufacturing surveillance for quality assurance for manufacturers. For operators, TÜV Rheinland offers periodic inspections, staff qualifications and special examinations using state-of-the-art non-destructive testing. Special site assessments, due diligence investigations and yield assessment are in turn used to safeguard investments.
TÜV Rheinland Wind Energy Services
TÜV Rheinland offers a comprehensive range of services for manufacturers, operators, investors and insurers in the wind energy industry. The company supports customers worldwide with expert reports and measurements, conducts risk and damage analysis as well as certification of wind turbines and wind energy projects. TÜV Rheinland is an accredited certification body by the German Accreditation Body (DakkS) for type and component certifications of onshore and offshore wind turbines according to national and international standards.
The company offers complex services, such as site assessment and soil examination, but also manufacturing surveillance, coordination of statics and structural analysis as well as quality control and construction supervision.
