In these countries, there is strong demand for highly qualified requirements engineering professionals by companies embarking on complex projects. As a personnel certification partner with international experience, we are excited to now extend our offering of CPRE certification to these countries.”
What is requirements engineering?
Requirements engineering professionals play an important role throughout the development process. They are responsible for ascertaining, analysing, specifying, documenting, reviewing and managing the requirements for product development and their implementation within the scope of projects. By engaging in communication and exchanges of ideas and experience with all project stakeholders, they significantly contribute to the success of a project.
How to become a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE)
The IREB certification scheme covers four different levels for CPRE training and certification: Foundation, Practitioner, Specialist and Expert. At each level, professionals interested in the certificate can acquire the necessary knowledge in courses offered by selected training providers or online training courses or in self study. The final examination is then held exclusively by IREB-approved certification bodies, such as TÜV SÜD in India, China and Switzerland, using a list of exam questions provided by IREB. After passing the exam, the candidates obtain a CPRE certificate valid for an unlimited period.
Further information about the CPRE certificate is available at the IREB website or on TÜV SÜD’s national websites for Switzerland, China and India.
