With this verification, USU provides Oracle E-Business Suite customers with precise data to better understand their Oracle environments, empowering them to make informed decisions in various scenarios.
Oracle E-Business Suite is a cornerstone of Oracle’s offerings, combining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications to meet diverse business needs.
“We appreciate this verification for Oracle EBS,” says Peter Stanjeck, Senior Vice President & Managing Director R&D at USU. “Using a verified tool won’t prevent an Oracle audit, but it ensures the data collected is both accurate and comprehensive. This is the first step in helping our SAM customers manage their Oracle assets effectively. Customers who are using our Oracle optimization software just need to install an agent on their EBS servers, export the EBS data and provide it to Oracle.”
USU is among the first third-party tool vendors verified for Oracle E-Business Suite. In addition, the company holds verification for other Oracle solutions, including:
- Java SE
- Oracle Fusion Middleware
- Oracle Database and Database Options
To achieve verification, SAM tool vendors undergo a rigorous qualification process through Oracle’s Third-Party Tool Vendor Program. This program allows vendors to deliver tools certified for measuring Oracle software deployments.
While Oracle’s Global Licensing and Advisory Services (GLAS) provides in-house tools, the program now also includes Oracle E-Business Suite. This expansion gives Oracle customers the flexibility to work with their preferred SAM vendors alongside GLAS tools, ensuring transparency and choice in managing their Oracle assets.
