The 6th sports event for young deaf people organised in Hamburg by the Deutsche Gehörlosen-Sportjugend attracted a record of 525 international sports enthusiasts. In the "Game without Limits", it was not just about a trial of strength, but also about the six different kinds of sports on offer at the event. The games bring together people with hearing impairments to compete against each other, with encounters between competitors playing an important role.

39 talented youths from ten countries worldwide took part in two power one Deaf Youth Cups in tennis and table tennis, which had been promoted internationally.

VARTA Microbattery and its power one brand are delighted that international deaf sports met with such great enthusiasm.
