Auf der zweitägigen Veranstaltung des VDI Wissensforums diskutieren technische Führungskräfte von Kraftwerksbetreibern, Anlagen- und Komponentenherstellern, Systementwicklung, Planung und Forschung über die aktuellen Herausforderungen. Fachlicher Leiter der Konferenz ist Prof. Hartmut Spliethoff, Leiter Lehrstuhl für Energiesysteme, TU München.
Das Themenspektrum der Veranstaltung reicht von Speichertechnologien und -strategien über Transformation des Energieversorgungssystems, Anforderungsprofile an den konventionellen Kraftwerkspark und Lastflexibilität, Perspektiven der Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung bis hin zu Erfordernissen für die Netzstabilität und Optimierungen für den Teil- und Schwachlastbetrieb.
