Efficient CO2 system maintenance

COOLIUS C40 from WABCOWÜRTH: air conditioning service for large-volume R744 systems

(PresseBox) (Künzelsau, )
The use of CO2 as a refrigerant in air conditioning systems is increasing significantly. In particular, thermal management systems in the field of e-mobility are based on the beneficial and sustainable refrigerant R744. Like any other system, CO2 air conditioning systems require regular maintenance. WABCOWÜRTH presents the fully automatic and service-friendly COOLIUS C40 air conditioning service unit for this purpose.

CO2 as a refrigerant is not new, but it plays an important role in modern and sustainable thermal management. With numerous ecological and economic advantages, the refrigerant R744 is already used in many buses, commercial vehicles and rail vehicles as well as in modern cars.

Due to its excellent suitability for heat pumps and the sustainability aspect, CO2 is the ideal refrigerant for electric vehicles. In order to operate R744 thermal management systems sustainably in terms of long-lasting function and constant performance, regular maintenance is the be-all and end-all. The COOLIUS C40 air conditioning service unit from WABCOWÜRTH has everything you need to carry out this maintenance easily, quickly and reliably.

COOLIUS C40: flexible service unit for large-volume thermal management systems

The COOLIUS C40 is a fully automatic air conditioning service unit that enables uncomplicated servicing thanks to its mobility and compact dimensions. Service hoses with a length of 5 m, a 15 m drain hose and safety quick couplings ensure a particularly fast maintenance process.

Whether liquid, gaseous or a combination: the COOLIUS C40 enables optimum service at all times and optimizes the service life of the vehicle being serviced. The fully automatic system can be used with CO2 cylinders up to 50 liters, which can be replaced quickly and intuitively. The COOLIUS system is also equipped with two software-controlled heating bands, which further minimize service time.

Service-friendly, safe and precise CO2 handling

The COOLIUS C40 has not only been developed for a long service life of thermal management systems in use, but also for durability and a long service life itself. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and specially matched components, it is up to the challenges of the workshop environment and promises high efficiency in daily use. In order to be able to plan the maintenance of the device in good time, an automatic service notification is issued.

In terms of safety, the COOLIUS C40 also impresses with a 15 m long drain hose. This drains the refrigerant directly to the outside or to an extraction system to prevent excessive CO2 concentrations in the workshop. Last but not least, the R744 air conditioning service unit from WABCOWÜRTH has four independent scales that ensure very high filling accuracy. This enables reliable and precise handling of refrigerant, fresh and used oils and, if necessary, UV additives.

Convenience and solution expertise - even beyond the device

The intuitive design of the entire COOLIUS C40 system and the direct operation via touchscreen display clearly demonstrate WABCOWÜRTH's high level of practical relevance and solution expertise. The COOLIUS C40 has undergone extensive practical tests at well-known WABCOWÜRTH customers and partners.

WABCOWÜRTH is an expert in air conditioning service, diagnostics and maintenance solutions. The new device adds an important new level to the existing COOLIUS product range with refrigerant R134a and R1234yf systems. Individual advice, holistic solutions and comprehensive service complement the company's expertise beyond the individual appliance.
