The company started off as a translation service provider in Belgium in 2001, even though its language technology dates back to a spin-off from Siemens' Linguistic R&D centre in 1993.
Since then, Xplanation has come a long way, with double-digit growth for the past few years founded on the development of Tstream®, our translation management system. Tstream® provides translation tools and interfaces for managing ordering and tracking, terminology, content management connections and translation memories.
In 2011, we translated over 123 million words in close to 500 language combinations.
