One of the focuses of pump manufacturer ZUWA during INTERFORST trade show in Munich (July 14. - 18) is mobile refuelling. The new fuel transfer box 3000 was designed for clean, non polluting refuelling of forestry and agricultural machines. The BOX 3000 makes sure the Diesel goes into the tank, not into the environment.
To keep downtime short, forest machines and vehicles often need to be refuelled on site from a pickup. During this process sand and dirt can get into the hoses - bad both for engine and for the machine's durability.
The foot valve on the suction hose of the new fuel transfer box produces a closed system and keeps the hose filled permanently. Neither diesel can leak out nor dirt get in. A special snap lock mechanism on the valve seals the system effectively.
The fuel transfer unit includes a powerful pump for 12 or 24 V battery drive, along with a four metres cable, clamps, hoses, foot valve and nozzle. The Pro version comes with an additional water filter.
The pump has a flow rate of 45 litres per minute. A sturdy box with carrying handle and compact dimensions (400 x 300 x 420 mm) makes transport easy.
