20th Wind Integration Workshop
The 20th Wind Integration Workshop that takes place from 29 - 30 September 2021 in Berlin, Germany (and online) covers all aspects relevant to large-scale integration of wind power into power systems. Participants will benefit from numerous presentations on international case studies and lessons learned. A special focus will be on grid forming. Find further information on the workshop website.
With more than 80 presentations in 20 sessions the Wind Integration Workshop offers you a great insight in the current status of grid integration of wind power into power systems. You will also learn more about trends and innovative approaches.
With three dedicated wind sessions, Grid Forming will again be prominently featured this year. The agenda features a wide spectrum of topics from power system aspects, sector coupling and forecasting to hybrid power systems and micro-grids.

The conference series takes place in a different location each year highlighting that region’s particular grid integration issues in keynotes and presentations throughout the week. The basic idea of this event series is to stimulate the interdisciplinary discussion between industry and academic participants on key issues in the area of large-scale integration of renewable energies into power systems.
TARGET GROUP
Thus, the conferences are designed to provide a platform for power system operators, transmission and distribution grid operators, wind turbine, solar inverter and charging station manufacturers, universities and research institutes, and consulting companies to exchange technical and economic developments.
WORKSHOP FORMAT
The presentations on research work, practical experience and ongoing as well as concluded projects are based on a Call for Papers and invited papers.
With several accompanying events such as the networking poster sessions for each of the events, the networking dinner and tutorials, the renewable energy conference series provides not only a great learning experience but also the perfect opportunity for energy experts to network with their peers from all around the world.
