China International Machine Tool Show
The 17th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2021) was held from April 12th-17th, 2021 at China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall), Beijing. The theme for CIMT2021 was “Win the smart future together”. As the first world machine tool exhibition held in the post pandemic period, CIMT2021 has attracted great attention from the global industry. There are 1523 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions in the world participating in the exhibition, among them, 878 were domestic exhibitors and 645 came from overseas, machine tool associations and trade promotion organizations from 13 countries and regions in the United States, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Britain, Czech Republic, South Korea, India, Chinese Taiwan region and Chinese Hong Kong region organized pavilions to participate in the exhibition. The exhibition used all of the 8 indoor exhibition halls and 4 temporary exhibition halls of the venue, the total exhibition area was 135,000 square meters. The level, variety and specification coverage of the exhibits exhibited in this exhibition have reached a new level, more than one hundred new products from well-known manufacturers are displayed at the exhibition as the world's first and China's first. During the exhibition, 82 forums, conferences and technical exchange activities were organized by the exhibition organizers, machine tool associations, exhibitors and colleges. The 6-day exhibition attracted 122,036 professional visitors from 18 countries and regions, the total number of entering the venue was 261,639. More than 20 times of visits and surveys were organized by relevant government departments and institutions such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Commerce. User enterprises in aerospace, automobile, shipbuilding, military industry, energy, rail transit and other fields organized a large number of technical experts and procurement teams to visit the exhibition. Affected by the COVID-19, although the number of overseas visitors decreased significantly, user enterprises in various industries in the domestic and overseas trade system sent professional purchasing groups, and the popularity of the exhibition exceeded expectation.
