Muskuloskelettale Bildgebung ist die Domäne des MRT, aber auch in der CT werden gelegentlich Untersuchungen an den oberen Extremitäten angefertigt. 

In diesem Fall stellen sich die Teilnehmer den Herausforderungen, eine sehr gute Untersuchung bei jeglicher Indikation mit der richtigen Technik und mit möglichst wenig Strahlenbelastung für den Patienten durchzuführen.
