Python-Datenanalyse und wissenschaftliches Rechnen mit Python

Mit den Paketen Numpy, Pandas, SciPy und Matplotlib wird Python zu einem umfassenden Werkzeug für das wissenschaftlich-technische Rechnen. Diese Basismodule, in Verbindung mit zahlreichen anwendungsspezifischeren Bibliotheken, stellen eine kostenfreie und extrem performante Alternative zu kommerziellen Tools wie z.B. Matlab dar. In diesem Seminar werden zunächst die Grundlagen der Programmierung in Python vertieft. Danach werden die grundlegenden Datenstrukturen und Funktionen der Pakete Numpy, Pandas, SciPy und Matplotlib eingeführt. Ausgewählte Programmierbeispiele geben einen Einblick in die weitgefächerten Anwendungsfelder der Module.

Ziel der Weiterbildung

Sie vertiefen Ihr vorhandenes Python Wissen und lernen die Programmbibliothek Pandas kennen, um sie für vielfältige Anwendungsgebiete einzusetzen. Die Algorithmen der Open-Source Softwareumgebung SciPy für wissenschaftliches Rechnen, Visualisieren und damit verbundene Funktionalitäten können sie zur numerischen Integration und Optimierung nutzen. Anhand vieler praktischer Beispiele werden die Methoden vertieft.
