Safeball ersetzt herkömmliche Drucktaster

Mit Safeball bietet ABB eine neue Art von Einhand- und Zweihandsteuerungen. Anstelle der herkömmlichen Drucktaster wurde eine mehr „handgerechte“ Lösung entwickelt. Safeball besteht aus einer Kugel mit zwei eingebauten Drucktastern – einem an jeder Seite. Durch diese Drucktasterkonfiguration wird das Risiko einer unbeabsichtigten Betätigung oder einer gezielten Manipulation minimiert, und das Gerät lässt sich einfach und ergonomisch bedienen. Safeball kann entweder für Einhand- oder Zweihandanwendungen eingesetzt werden.
Bei einer Zweihandsteuerung müssen beide Safeballs und somit alle vier Drucktaster innerhalb von 0,5 s betätigt werden. Lässt der Anwender einen oder mehrere Drucktaster los, wird der Maschine ein Abschaltbefehl erteilt.
