AICON unterstützt Experiment der TU München beim DLR Parabelflug

Sind faltbare Antennen im Weltall einsetzbar? Dieser Fragestellung widmet sich das Experiment FLAME (Flexible Antenna Membrane Experiment) des Lehrstuhls für Leichtbau an der TU München, zu dessen Durchführung AICON das 3D Online Messsystem TraceCam M mit acht Kameras beisteuert. Kommunikations- und Erdbeobachtungssatelliten benötigen diese Antennen, um Signale empfangen oder senden zu können.

Zur Verformungsmessung der Antenne in Schwerelosigkeit war der Lehrstuhl für Leichtbau auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten photogrammetrischen System. Es sollten 3D Punktkoordinaten der entfalteten Oberfläche in simulierter Schwerelosigkeit erfasst werden. Für diese Anforderung lieferte AICON das passende Messkonzept.
