Die kleine Baugröße der SFFR Schutzwiderstände für IGBT Schaltungen von Caddock Electronics ist jetzt bis 1100 V verfügbar.

Die Technologie der ultra-schnellen SFFR-Schutzwiderstände (Sudden Fault Fuse Resistor) verhindert eine verhängnisvolle Beschädigung der Treiberstufe des IGBT. Die Technologie verwendet keine Schmelzsicherungen wie es bei herkömmlichen Sicherungswiderständen der Fall ist. Bei plötzlicher Störspannung öffnet der SFFR sofort alle über die gesamte Länge verteilten Schutzeinrichtungen.

Die SFFR Widerstände können kundenspezifisch hergestellt werden. Der Gate-Widerstand (Rgate) reicht von 1.0 bis 30 Ohm. Die Ausfallspannung über Rgate wird bestimmt durch die Durchbruchspannung der Gate-Isolation des IGBTs (Fault Mode).
