Der neue digitale Feuchte- und Temperatursensor HTU21D ist eine miniaturisierte Kombination aus einer kapazitiven Messzelle und einem integrierten Temperatursensor. Die Sensoren sind OEM Produkte, die für Applikationen entwickelt wurden, bei denen die Messgenauigkeit und die Zuverlässigkeit wichtige Eigenschaften sind. Jeder Sensor ist individuell kalibriert, kompensiert und getestet. Dadurch konnte die Genauigkeit von ±3% im Messbereich von 20% - 80%RH erreicht werden. Prinzipiell ist der Sensor für den Feuchtebereich von 0% - 100%RH und für den erweiterten Temperaturbereich von -45 bis +125°C einsetzbar.

Die Ausgänge für Feuchtigkeit und Temperatur im I²C-Format sind für die weitere Datenbearbeitung mit einfachen, kostengünstigen Mikrocontrollern geeignet.
