AOL ist die vertrauenswürdigste Internet-Marke in Deutschland. Das ist das Ergebnis der Studie "European Trusted Brands" des Magazins "Reader's Digest". Zum dritten Mal in Folge platzierte sich AOL damit weit vor seinen Wettbewerbern. In der Kategorie Internetunternehmen votierten 43 Prozent der deutschen Befragten für AOL als "Most trusted Brand". Im Club der vertrauenswürdigsten Marken Deutschlands befindet sich AOL in Gesellschaft von Unternehmen wie Lufthansa, Miele oder Siemens.

Die Befragten stellten AOL vor allem für die Bereiche Qualität, Service und Image ein sehr gutes Zeugnis aus. Auf den Plätzen zwei und drei folgten die Marken T-Online (18 Prozent) und Freenet (wsl Qvhxkhe).
