CAD use around Europe: Spanish architects design with one dimension less

For design and data exchange, nine out of ten architects in Western Europe work with CAD software and most of them do so always or regularly. This is a result of the European Architectural Barometer, a research project carried out by Arch-Vision in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. Still, although CAD is the architects' favourite software everywhere, the picture is not as homogenous as it seems when it comes to the way the software is used: Particularly Spain remains behind the rest, as the least advanced CAD technology is applied there.
