Tierportal im August mit über 230.000 Besuchern

Nach nur 19 rekordverdächtigen Monaten generierten im August über 230.000 Besucher von enimal.de mehr als drei Millionen Seitenaufrufe. Seit dem Start des Portals am 1. Februar 2004 hilft der Dienst bei überregionaler Vermittlung von Tieren aus Tierheimen oder privater Hand und arbeitet dabei eng mit Tierschutzorganisationen und -verbänden sowie Tierfreunden zusammen. Insgesamt vermittelten Nutzer über die Webseite mehr als 3100 Tiere, knapp die Hälft stammten aus Tierheimen. Derzeit stehen 6492 Tiere online.

Besonders interessant: Textliche Inhalte der Seite stammen fast vollständig aus der Feder von engagierten Usern. Beispielsweise geben ausführliche Portraits von Hunden, Katzen und Pferden wertvolle Hinweise zu
