DIGITUS® öffnet die Tür in die USB 3.0 Generation für Windows XP, Windows Vista und Windows 7. Eine PCI Express Add-On Karte (DS-30220) und eine ExpressCard Add-On Karte (DS-31220)erweitern PCs und Notebooks um die lang erwartete USB 3.0 Schnittstelle.

Beide Karten sind mit dem NEC D720200 Chipsatz ausgestattet und erweitern den Computer um zwei USB 3.0 Ports. Die Karten erreichen Datenübertragungsraten von 5Gbps (Super-Speed), 480Mbps (High-Speed), 12Mbps (Full-Speed) und 1,5Mbps (Low-Speed) und sind zu dem abwärtskompatibel zur USB 2.0 und USB 1.1 Spezifikation.

Die PCI Expresskarte (DS-30220) entspricht der PCI Express Grundspezifikation 2.0 mit einer PCIe x1 Bus-Schnittstelle.
