Im Rahmen einer gemeinsamen Digitalisierungs-Offensive arbeiten der Norddeutsche Rundfunk (NDR) und ASTRA zusammen. Ziel der Zusammenarbeit ist es, über den Handel als Multiplikator auf die Abschaltung des analogen TV-Signals via Satellit am 30. April 2012 aufmerksam zu machen und aufzuzeigen, was es beim Umstieg auf den digitalen Satelliten-Empfang zu beachten gilt. Im Zuge der Kooperation fanden im Mai und Juni zwei Informationstage statt, bei denen mehr als 200 Vertreter des Handels und Handwerks aus dem Sendegebiet des NDR in Niedersachsen, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein und Mecklenburg-Vorpommern eingeladen wurden.
