Auf der Hannover Messe 2011 zeigt die Aucotec AG frische Neuerungen seines datenbankbasierten Software-Systems Engineering Base (EB). Sie werden mit der Version 6.2 geliefert und betreffen hauptsächlich drei Projektierungs-Bereiche:

Erstens die Report-Funktionen: Mehr Komfort schaffen u. a. ihre flexiblere grafische Darstellung, die Gesamtsummen- bzw. seitenbezogene Zwischensummen-Berechnung, die spaltenweise Textformatierung oder der automatische Seitenumbruch bei Parameter-Wechsel.

Bei kundenspezifischen Automatisierungen und der Anbindung anderer Programme schafft die neue Integration von VSTA (Visual Studio Tools for Applications) und .NET in EB eine hochflexible Entwicklungsumgebung.
