Kernkraftwerk Beznau: Abschaltung von Block 2 des KKB

Heute Morgen, 31. Januar 2008, wurde im Block 2 des Kernkraftwerks Beznau (KKB) um 06:19 Uhr von der Betriebsmannschaft eine Reaktorschnell- abschaltung ausgelöst. Anlass dafür war eine Störung in der Stromversorgung für einen Teil der Anlageninstrumentierung. Der Betriebsmannschaft standen dadurch nicht mehr alle Anlageninstrumentierungen zur Verfügung.

Der Schichtchef hat folgerichtig entschieden, den Reaktor abzuschalten. Alle Systeme funktionierten bei der Schnellabschaltung einwandfrei, und die Anlage ist in einem sicheren Zustand. Die Anlage wird erst nach Abklärung der Störungsursache und nach Freigabe durch die Sicherheitsbehörde wieder in Betrieb gesetzt.
