Zwei Jahre nach der Firmengründung und sogar nur 18 Monate nach der Akkreditierung vermeldet die blue inspection body GmbH die erfolgreiche Durchführung des 50. GMP-Audits. Die nächsten Auditreisen nach China, Indien, Israel sowie in mehrere europäische Staaten sind schon fixiert, so dass noch im ersten Quartal 2010 die Marke von 75 Audits geknackt werden soll. Damit hat die privatwirtschaftlich organisierte Inspektionsstelle blue in kürzester Zeit neue Maßstäbe in Qualität und Anzahl von GMP-Wirkstoff-Audits gesetzt. Das beim Europarat angesiedelte European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) beispielsweise hatte im vergangenen Jahr lediglich 28 Inspektionen durchgeführt.
