Anlässlich des Geburtstags der Crowdfunding-Plattform Seedmatch wurde über das Startup des Jahres abgestimmt. Alle teilnehmenden Unternehmen haben über Seedmatch ihre Investoren gefunden, so auch der Lost & Found-Service. Gewählt haben insgesamt 671 Fans, Freunde und Investoren der Startups. BringMeBack konnte sich gegen 16 andere Startups behaupten und sicherte sich mit 213 Stimmen den ersten Platz, dicht gefolgt von easyPEP mit 206 und BLOOMY DAYS mit 93 Stimmen.

Im September 2012 konnte sich das Startup über einen weiteren Preis freuen.
