Der Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V. (BME) hat die zweite, völlig neue und erweiterte Auflage des Fachbuchs "Best Practice in Einkauf und Logistik" vorgelegt. Das rund 500 Seiten umfassende Werk ist im Gabler Verlag erschienen.

Im Buch kommen rund 50 Praktiker und Wissenschaftler zu Wort. Gegenüber der Erstauflage 2004 wurde die Ausgabe 2008 um die Schwerpunkte Lieferantenmanagement, Public Procurement sowie die Rubrik "Lösungen und Tools" erweitert. Themen sind u. a:
