Zum heute veröffentlichten Jahresbericht Telekommunikation 2023 der Bundesnetzagentur erklärt Sven Knapp, Leiter des Hauptstadtbüros beim Bundesverband Breitbandkommunikation (BREKO):

„Die Zahlen der Bundesnetzagentur bestätigen den bereits in der BREKO Marktanalyse 2023 erkennbaren Trend: Der Glasfaserausbau läuft auf Hochtouren. Der im Vergleich zum Vorjahr nochmal gesteigerte Zuwachs an verfügbaren Glasfaseranschlüssen zeigt, dass weiter stark investiert wird. Der leichte Investitionsrückgang im Telekommunikationsmarkt insgesamt betrifft wohl vorwiegend die kupferbasierten Brückentechnologien DSL und TV-Kabel, deren 2022 begonnener Abwärtstrend sich 2023 verstetigt hat.

Besonders erfreulich ist, dass die Wettbewerber der Telekom über ihren Beitrag zum Netzausbau hinaus im letzten Jahr auch über zwei Millionen neue Jobs bwzqmqgfky tljam.
