Bulmahn: "Bundesregierung macht Weg für mehr Ausbildung frei"

Das Bundeskabinett hat am Mittwoch der Aussetzung der Ausbilder-Eignungsverordnung (AEVO) für die kommenden fünf Jahre zugestimmt. Bundesbildungsministerin Edelgard Bulmahn kommt damit vor allem den ausbildungswilligen kleineren und neu gegründeten Betrieben entgegen. "Die Bundesregierung macht mit der Aussetzung der Ausbilder-Eignungsverordnung den Weg für mehr Ausbildungsplätze frei", sagte Bulmahn. Die Bundesregierung erfülle damit eine im Rahmen der Ausbildungsoffensive 2003 gemachte Zusage als Teil der Agenda 2010. Die AEVO soll zum August ausgesetzt werden.

Bisher war eine Prüfung nach der AEVO Voraussetzung dafür, Ausbildungsplätze anzubieten. Insbesondere kleine innovative Betriebe waren vielfach überfordert, Mitarbeiter für den mehrwöchigen AEVO-Lehrgang mit Kosten von mehr als
