Projektbeginn für Forschungsvorhaben zur besseren Rückverfolgbarkeit von Lebensmitteln

"Wir wollen innovative Forschung für mehr Verbraucherschutz", erklärte Gert Lindemann, Staatssekretär im Bundesministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz (BMELV), heute in Berlin zum Projektbeginn eines Forschungsvorhabens zur besseren Rückverfolgbarkeit von Lebensmitteln. "Mit dem jetzt beginnenden Projekt sollen Wege gefunden werden, die die Rückverfolgbarkeit von Lebensmitteln verbessert. Ziel soll es sein, schnell und zuverlässig den Weg von Lebensmitteln identifizieren zu können." Derzeit bestünde in der Praxis oft das Problem, dass Daten zu einem Lebensmittel bei den einzelnen Wirtschaftsbeteiligten mit unterschiedlichen Informationstechniksystemen (IT-Systeme) verwaltet werden.
