Energie-Abnehmerverband VEA plädiert für Nutzung von Atomkraft und Stärkung des Wirtschaftsstandorts Deutschland

Der Bundesverband der Energie-Abnehmer e. V. (VEA) begrüßt die Pläne von Wirtschaftsminister Glos zur längeren Nutzung der Kernenergie und zur Implementierung eines entsprechenden Gesetzes in weiten Teilen. Allerdings spricht sich die Interessensvertretung mehrerer tausend mittelständischer Unternehmen in Deutschland gegen den Vorschlag der Projektgruppe Energiepolitisches Programm (PEPP) aus, die Gewinne aus der Verlängerung der Restlaufzeit von Atomkraftwerken in eine Stiftung einzuzahlen. "Dieses Vorhaben führt nur zu unnötigem Verwaltungsaufwand, steht unserer Meinung nach nicht im Einklang mit der Wirtschaftsordnung und die Kostenvorteile werden womöglich nur zur Subventionierung der erneuerbaren Energien weiterverteilt
