C-QUADRAT Investment AG (ISIN AT0000613005) is planning to establish and operate an asset management firm in Armenia through a joint venture with Talanx Asset Management GmbH, Cologne. C-QUADRAT will hold a 74.9 % interest in this firm.

Once Armenia's pension reform comes into effect on January 1, 2014, this firm will take over - along with another well-known asset manager - the management of state pension assets of the Armenian pension system. The total volume of pension assets under its management will be gradually increased. The Central Bank of Armenia estimates that this volume will reach approx. EUR 2
