CANopen safety seminar online in December

CAN in Automation (CiA) has scheduled web-based CAN and CANopen seminars to increase attendee’s safety in times of the coronavirus. A seminar with the topic “CANopen safety” takes place on December 03, 2020.

The online seminar provides in a compact format the contents of CiA’s well-known on-site seminars. The CANopen safety seminar, held in German language. In this seminar attendees get an insight to system design by considering functional safety. In addition to an introduction to functional safety in principle, they learn how to communicate safety-related data by means of the CANopen safety protocol.
