Im Rahmen eines pan-europäischen Internetprojekts erscheint www.canon.de jetzt im gleichen "Look & Feel" wie die bereits gelaunchten Canon Websites von Canon Europa sowie einiger anderer europäischer Länder.

Der einheitliche Internetauftritt in ganz Europa stärkt zum einen die Marke Canon, zum anderen werden Synergien genutzt, da neben Layout und Struktur auch viele Inhalte und Funktionalitäten zentral von Canon Europa zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dadurch können Kosten für Webinhalte und -applikationen gesenkt werden. Über ein neu eingeführtes Content Management System werden zentral erstellte Seiten von Länderniederlassungen lokalisiert sowie neue Internetseiten ergänzt.
