Für Aufgaben in der Industrie, wo große Proben wie Solarzellen, Wafer, Flachbildschirme oder Leiterplatten mit mikroskopischen Kontrast- verfahren untersucht werden müssen, bietet Carl Zeiss das Mikroskopmodul Axio Imager Vario an. Der Probenraum wurde an Objektgrößen von bis zu 300 mm lateraler und bis zu 250 mm vertikaler Ausdehnung angepasst. Die exzellente Optik und hohe Funktionalität der aufrechten Mikroskope Axio Imager 2 wurden mit einer stabil ausgelegten Säulenkonstruktion vereint. Hochpräzise Führungen sorgen für genaues Anpassen des Probenraumes in z-Richtung. Auf der stabilen Aluminiumgrundplatte können Probentische bis 300 mm Verfahrweg verwendet werden.
