CKW investiert 10 Millionen Franken in das Unterwerk Mettlen

Die Centralschweizerische Kraftwerke AG (CKW) investiert rund zehn Millionen Franken in das Unterwerk Mettlen. Die Erneuerungsarbeiten erhöhen die Versorgungssicherheit der Zentralschweiz. Ab heute entsteht auf dem Gelände in Eschenbach ein Neubau mit zwei neuen Schaltanlagen. Die Arbeiten dauern bis November 2014 an. Das Unterwerk Mettlen ist ein wichtiger Knotenpunkt der Zentralschweizer Stromversorgung.

Im Rahmen der Erneuerungsarbeiten am Unterwerk Mettlen wird die alte 50-Kilovolt-Freiluft-Schaltanlage durch eine moderne, gasisolierte Innenraum-Schaltanlage ersetzt. Zusätzlich wird eine weitere 110-Kilovolt-Schaltanlage installiert. Die neue 110-Kilovolt-Schaltanlage dient dem fortschreitenden Netzausbau in der Region. CKW investiert rund zehn Millionen Franken in die neue Netzinfrastruktur.
